Jonah's Fast - February 6 - 8, 2012This is a 3 days fast in which the church placed 2 weeks prior to the great lent. The church wants to prepare us for this fast. It also wants us to learn from the Ninevites to ask for God's forgiveness. During the Great and Holy fast we ask to be worthy of salvation, when Jesus died on the Cross to save us, and free us from the slavery of sin. |
