Feast of the Wedding of Cana of Galilee - January 21, 2010

During this feast we remember the story of our Lord changing the water into wine as His first miracle, at the wedding in Cana of Galilee. This confirms Jesus eagerness for us to attain the heavenly wedding, and in granting us the wine of his exceeding love.

The Holy Epiphany - January 19, 2010

This feast commemorates the baptism of Christ. By His incarnation He became a true man while still being the only-begotten Son of God. Therefore, we celebrate Christ manifestation to the world.

The Circumcision Feast - January 14, 2010

In this Feast we remember the word of God who gave us the Law. We also recognize that Christ was fully human and had to obey biblical law. Therefore, Christ gave us power to fulfill the law spiritually. "Thus we enjoy the circumcision of spirit and that of heart" (Col. 2:11).

The Feast of the Cross - March 19, 2010

During this feast we commemorate the discovery of the Holy Cross by Queen Helen mother of Emperor Constantine. We celebrate with a procession similar to that of Palm Sunday, which uses the same tone in chanting (Hosanna). This announces the church's cause of joy with the Cross in receiving Christ Savior as the King who reigns within us.

The Nayrouz Feast - September 11, 2010

The word "Nayrouz" is Persian meaning "The beginning of the year". This feast, with its joyful hymns commemorates and announces her joy and gladness with the martyrs through bearing the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ. In other words, the sufferings and martyrdom were turned into a source of joy.
